Seger, 47, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, public lewdness and second-degree harassment after city police officers responded to UPMC Chautauqua at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday for a reported disorderly patient. UPMC staff members told police that Seger allegedly became irate during his discharge process, damaged a hospital bed, exposed himself to staff and then allegedly threatened staff. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – HANOVER – Christine L. Gard, 44, of Silver Creek, was charged Monday with second-degree harassment. It is alleged that around 10 a.m. Gard was involved in an altercation on Angell Road, where she hit another person in the face. She was taken to the county jail for arraignment and will answer to the charge in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

An alleged break-in attempt in Fredonia Tuesday morning led to an arrest. According to a press release from the Fredonia Police Department, they received a 911 call describing a man attempting to break into a residence through a rear door on Lakeview Avenue. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT --- GERRY --- At about 8:12 a.m. Friday, Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies checked the well-being of a subject who had fallen off their motorcycle at the intersection of Gerry Levant Road and Route 60. The operator, who was uninjured, was identified as Reid L. Johnson, 54, of Kennedy. Through further investigation, it was found that Johnson had been operating the motorcycle while intoxicated.
