Around 12:45 a.m. Saturday, Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department patrol responded to a report of a disorderly subject in the road. Upon arrival, deputies located Joshua D. Adams, 33, of Silver Creek being disorderly. Following an investigation it was determined that Adams had engaged in a physical altercation with others, which resulted in him retreating from the area and arming himself with a knife. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SILVER CREEK – Edwin A Ernst, 39, of Silver Creek was charged Friday with endangering the welfare of a child. Around 2:15 a.m. the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Main Street in the village of Silver Creek for a report of a disorderly person.
