An alleged break-in attempt in Fredonia Tuesday morning led to an arrest. According to a press release from the Fredonia Police Department, they received a 911 call describing a man attempting to break into a residence through a rear door on Lakeview Avenue. The resident provided police with a description of the man and his direction of travel. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT --- GERRY --- At about 8:12 a.m. Friday, Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies checked the well-being of a subject who had fallen off their motorcycle at the intersection of Gerry Levant Road and Route 60. The operator, who was uninjured, was identified as Reid L. Johnson, 54, of Kennedy. Through further investigation, it was found that Johnson had been operating the motorcycle while intoxicated. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE RIPLEY – Tolebi Issakov, no age or address provided, was charged Sunday night with petit larceny.
