BUFFALO – U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross has announced that Jeffrey Paden, 57, of Kennedy pleaded guilty before Chief U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford to possession of child pornography following a prior conviction, which carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison, a maximum of 20 years, and a $250,000 fine. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – SINCLAIRVILLE – A morning fire has been labeled incendiary. On Tuesday around 10 a.m. the Sinclairville Fire Department and several mutual aid fire departments responded to East Avenue in the village of Sinclairville for a residential structure fire. After extinguishing the fire, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was requested to the scene to conduct an origin and cause fire investigation. Two people charged over Fredonia bomb threat

Two people face charges in connection with a bomb threat that shook downtown Fredonia Thursday morning. Jayden Feaster, 20, and Melinda Jackson, 45, both reporting to be homeless, were charged with falsely reporting an incident. That's a Class D felony under state penal law.
