Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club Ladies Auxiliary to meet June 9

Members of the Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club Ladies Auxiliary will meet at the Mullet Street club room, Dunkirk, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 9. Members are encouraged to attend to discuss club events.

Cassadaga Farmers Market to be held

CASSADAGA — The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga, in conjunction with the Fredonia Farmers Market, will host the Cassadaga Farmers Market this year. Opening day will be from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 6, in the Cassadaga Village Common, corner of Route 60 and Maple Avenue. Roberto Fred will be back with his selection of fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables and other food items. The market will run every Sunday through the end of September.

Rummage sale to be held Saturday and Sunday

The Blessed Mary Angela Holy Name Society’s Spring Rummage sale continues Saturday and Sunday at the Parish Social Center, 324 Townsend St., Dunkirk.

The sale runs from 9 a.m. to noon both days. There are many unique items for sale, and offers will not be refused. Next weekend there will be a $1 bag and a $2 box sale. Church officials need to clean everything out.

The Holy Name Society is also having a can and bottle drive the last Saturday of the month in the Parish’s Roberts Road parking lot. Those donating can pull in, open their trunk and have their bottles and cans unloaded for them. The drop off will continue the last Saturday of June, July, August and September from 9 a.m. to noon. Masks MUST be worn. Social distancing will be practiced. For details, call Tony at 467-0891.

St. John’s United Church of Christ will hold a hot dog lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 733 Central Ave., Dunkirk. Meals will include a hot dog, chips, and soda for just $3.

First Friday in the Village of Westfield

Fredonia Community Chamber of Commerce organizes Attic & Seller Days, the annual community-wide yard sale event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sale maps will be sold for $2 each in the information booth in Barker Common.

Fredonia Farmers’ Market

Westfield Farmers and Artisans Market

The Westfield Farmers and Artisans Market is from 9 a.m. to 2 p .m. at Moore P ark, 23 Elm St., Westfield. Leon Firemen’s Auxiliary rummage and bake sale

The Leon’s Firemen’s Auxiliary will host its annual rummage and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Leon Fire Hall. A $1 bag sale will begin at noon. Masks are required.

Pet Pantry outdoor summer market

The Pet Pantry will hold an outdoor summer market from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. featuring crafters and vendors.

Annual Silver Creek Children’s Fair

The Kiwanis Club of Silver Creek will present the 18th annual Silver Creek Children’s Fair from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It will be held in the Village Ballpark free of charge. There will be many activities planned that will be informational and fun for children and their parents.
