Walk for life planned June 11
GOWANDA — Tri-County Pregnancy Center will be holding its annual “walk for life” on Sunday, June 11, at the Gowanda Assembly of God Church, 78 Allen St. Registration begins at noon with walk starting at 12:30. Hot dogs and popsicles to follow.
This is the largest fundraiser for our center that currently serves over 75 families in our area. The center offers everything one may need for their baby or small children, connects with local agencies for additional services and offers additional educational material for the pregnant, parenting or caregiver. Republican committee plans picnic
The Fredonia-Pomfret Republican Committee is planning a family picnic Saturday, June 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the upper pavilion of Russell Joy Park. There will be games and family fun. Hot dogs, buns and chips will be provided by the committee. To attend, please RSVP by May 27 to 716-672-8822.
CVCS board to gather Wednesday
SINCLAIRVILLE — The Cassadaga Valley Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the middle-high school multi-purpose room.
