U.S. Rep. Nick Langworthy announced Monday that Premier Precision Machining, also known as Rand Machine, has been awarded a $47 million, five-year contract from the U.S. Army for the manufacturing and delivery of aviation suspension lugs.

“This major contract is fantastic news for Rand Machine and the Southern Tier,” Langworthy said. “Not only does it underscore the outstanding work of one of our local job creators, but it also invests in our economy and strengthens our manufacturing sector. This infusion of $47 million over five years will support jobs at Rand Machine, creating a ripple effect throughout our community. I want to commend Rand Machine and their skilled workforce for their commitment to excellence and their contribution to our country.”

This contract is for aviation suspension lugs MS3314 and MK3-0, and will be carried out from 2024 to 2029.

Based in Falconer, Premier Precision Machining LLC, doing business as Rand Machine, has been providing products for global partners in the aerospace, defense, oil and gas, and transportation industries for over seven decades. They are known for their deep industry experience, on-time delivery, superior quality, and commitment to long-term business relationships. It has around 60 employees.

Langworthy represents the 23rd Congressional District of New York, including Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben Counties and parts of Erie County.
