Two Charged After Tuesday Raid Of Jamestown Apartment
At 10 a.m. Tuesday, members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in the lower apartment of 212 Price St., Jamestown, with assistance from the Jamestown Police Department SWAT team. After entering the apartment, SWAT team members found three individuals inside the residence. After the residence was secured, detectives searched the residence and located 34 grams of fentanyl, $427, scales, cutting agents and packaging allegedly used in the distribution of narcotics, Alprazolam, a stolen rifle, and a shotgun.
Juan A. Gutierrez, 36, and Francisco J. Gutierrez, 35, both of Jamestown, were charged and taken to the Jamestown City Jail until they could be arraigned. Juan Gutierrez was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Francisco Gutierrez is charged with one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly being a felon in possession of a rifle.
The Jamestown Police Department was assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Chautauqua County Emergency Services Tac Meds and Jamestown Fire Department.
