In cooperation with Lake Erie Medical Services, Brooks Memorial Hospital is preparing to celebrate the area’s Baby New Year, the first baby to be born at Brooks in 2015.

This traditional community event, now themed “Baby New Year,” has provided the family and first baby with gift donations from the generous community in the form of oil changes to gymnastics lessons. Monetary cash donations are put into a savings bond in the name of Baby New Year.

A new theme for this traditional community event seems appropriate this year, as a new co-sponsor, LEMS of Fredonia, Angola, and now Dunkirk, has joined the hospital to celebrate the area’s newest community member. Beginning in the new year new physicians, new locations and new services will be featured at LEMS.

Brooks is inviting support from community organizations, individuals and area businesses to help celebrate this upcoming joyous occasion.
