Harmon seeks District 6 legislator seat

SILVER CREEK — Tom Harmon has announced his candidacy for Legislator District 6. He is proudly a member of the Republican Party and is also endorsed by the Conservative Party. He is a 30-year resident of Chautauqua County and is looking forward to help promote business growth and moving north county to the forefront of development.

His business and political accomplishments include two terms as village of Silver Creek Trustee with two years as deputy mayor. His focus was on fiscal responsibility and goals of reducing taxes and spending.

Harmon has more than 40 years of work experience and 25 years as a manager in sales and manufacturing. He says his business knowledge and connections will be a huge advantage to expanding District 6’s Routes 5 and 20 corridor.

Harmon is the current Silver Creek Kiwanis president and has been involved in many organizations including coaching baseball, assistant boy scout leader and chamber member. “I am looking forward to all of the challenges the county is facing and being a positive proactive voice to the legislative branch of Chautauqua County.”

Tom resides in the village of Silver Creek with his wife, Janet.
