Father Robert “Bob” Owczarczak

Northern Chautauqua Catholic School, a private educational institution in Dunkirk, offering more than 30 years of faith-based education, has announced a new canonical administrator for the 2022-23 school year.

Father Robert “Bob” Owczarczak, Pastoral Administrator for Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Dunkirk, NY is excited to begin his journey with NCCS. Owczarczak attended St. Vincent DePaul grammar school, St. Mary’s High School, Canisius College, and received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Buffalo. After spending five years in the counseling field, he attended Christ the King Seminary, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Divinity. Father Bob is looking forward to continuing the great priestly presence that Father Dan Walsh has shown during his tenure.

“As a priest, I really stress the importance of God’s love and mercy … know that whatever decisions I make I do it through prayer,” he said.

NCCS will be working with Owczarczak to continue the school’s mission of providing a foundation for Christian living, academic excellence, and continuing the physical, spiritual, intellectual and social growth of our students.
