County eyes changes to short-term rental regulations
Chautauqua County is eyeing some changes to its regulations for short-term rental properties. The changes are designed to align county regulations better with state regulations. During the legislature’s Administrative Services Committee meeting, county Finance Director Kitty Lyons said that she has been working with the county Law Department to update the local law which establishes a tax on occupancy of hotels and short-term rental rooms to align changes at the state level.
