Jamestown police are warning those who own Kia vehicles to be aware of a rash of thefts of Kia vehicles across the city. In a Facebook post Friday, the department said they are investigating several thefts of Kia vehicles that have been stolen overnight while recommending owners take action to keep their vehicle safe. “Recently, we have had numerous Kia vehicles stolen during the overnight hours across the whole city,” the department said. “The suspects are breaking a window on the vehicle and tampering with the ignition to start and drive it. Swine winners announced at county fair

Chautauqua County 4-H youth were excited to be back at the fair. Squeals of excitement were heard from the hogs and youth, and a few of the spectators as they participated in Swine Market and Showmanship Classes on July 20. Tony Nye of Washington Court House, Ohio, judged the show. The Showmanship classes consisted of three divisions and 61 youth. Senior Showman, being the most experienced showman, starts the show to give younger youth an opportunity to pick up some last-minute pointers.
