Dr. Steven Barnes, D.O., is a UPMC Internal Medicine Physician that currently practices at 113 Main St. Silver Creek.

He is one of eight physicians receiving the honor of The 2022 Excellence in Patient Experience Award. He has been chosen from 5,000 UPMC physicians. His patients have given him the highest ratings in practice provider domains.

He placed in the 95th percentile in the nation. According to the reviews Dr. Barnes “listened carefully, he was patient, showed empathy and was very knowledgeable.”

In recognition of this achievement Dr. Barnes will be honored during the 2022 Dr. Loren Roth Quality and Patient Safety Awards Celebration this month.

Dr. Barnes is a 1984 graduate from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pa.
