A north county grocery store has a new owner.

The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate sales in Chautauqua County and recently looked at the transactions from Sept. 1-10.

During that time period, Sun Moon Market, LLC of Cassadaga sold 8038 Rt. 60, Pomfret to CASA Route 60, LLC of Amherst for $975,000. This is the location of Cassadaga ShurFine. There have been no changes of operation. A new sign was installed in the entrance way which gives the new LLC name.

In other north county sales, Family Church of Fredonia sold 46 Lakeview Ave., Pomfret to Gospel Church Co. of Fredonia for $260,000. Family Church used the Lakeview Avenue location until it moved to downtown Fredonia, in the former Fredonia Baptist Church building on Church Street. Family Church temporarily went back to the Lakeview Avenue location in 2018 after part of the Church Street building was damaged by a fire, which destroyed the steeple and clock tower. The church was repaired the following year, with a new steeple and clock.

In other sales, VetCor of Albany, LLC of Norwell, Mass. Sold 236 Fluvanna Ave., Jamestown to FIP Master Funding XIX, LLC of Jamestown for $1,301,197. This is the location of Jamestown Veterinary Hospital. In August 2022, VetCor of Albany LLC purchased that location for $331,000.
