Robert “Junt” Mosley

Robert “Junt” Mosley, 55, of Dunkirk died unexpectedly Monday morning (Oct. 31, 2016) in Fredonia.

He was born Jan. 22, 1961 in Silver Creek, the son of the late Al and Franklee (Hooten) Mosley.

A lifelong area resident, Robert worked at the Carriage House in Fredonia, Denny’s Restaurant and was a jack of all trades. He had a musical gift to hear and play music by ear.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda (Mitchell) Mosley; seven daughters, Rachell Mosley of Erie, PA, Samara Mosley of Jamestown, Sonia Mosley of Fredonia, Melissa Mosley and Shalana Watts, both of Pittsburgh, PA, and Alexis Mosley and Haley Mosley, both of Appleton, WI; seven sons, Robert Mosley Jr. of Jamestown, Kevin Mosley of Randolph, Kenneth Mosley of Dunkirk, Tony Mosley of Jamestown, and David Mosley, Michael Mosley, and Jermaine Mosley, all of Pittsburgh; one sister, Bella Mae (Wilbur) Thomas of Pleasantville, NJ; and 38 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock in Good Hope Baptist Church, 215 Eagle St., Dunkirk. Pastor Leo J. Nixon will officiate. Calling hours will be held Friday from noon to 1 p.m., one hour prior to the service in church. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
