Cynthia Ann Coyne

Cynthia Ann Coyne, a preschool special needs teacher for the Nordonia Hills City School District in Ohio for 20 years, passed away April 3rd at American House in Macedonia, Ohio. Cindy grew up in Dunkirk and received her bachelor’s degree in education from State University of New York at Fredonia. After teaching for two years in Forestville, N.Y., she moved to Cleveland and taught in the Shaker Heights school district and later served as a teacher and administrator at Lollipop Preschool in Twinsburg, Ohio. In addition to her husband, John, she is survived

by sons John (Elina), Eric, James and daughter, Erin (Jordan) Makarius; and grandchildren Alex, Ethan, Aidan, Neala, Janna, Vivian, Evangeline and Maeve, all of whom live in Ohio. Also surviving are her brother, James (Joyce)

Domanski of Syracuse, N.Y., and Susan (Richard) Michaels of Dunkirk. She is predeceased by her parents, Henry and

Jean Domanski, and a sister, Mary Jane (James) Krzyzanowicz. Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

Thursday, August 8, at Ferfolia Funeral Home, 356 Aurora Road, Sagamore Hills, OH. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield Center, Ohio.
