Allen R. Ecker
FORESTVILLE — Allen R. Ecker, 90, of North Hill Road, Forestville, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, at Heritage Green Rehab & Skilled Nursing, Green hurst, N.Y., following a short illness. He was born in the town of Villenova, on Oct. 15, 1930, the son of the late Merle and Florence (Straight) Ecker.
Allen was a graduate of the former South Dayton High School, class of 1948, served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a dairy farmer in Forestville, most of his life. He enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, reading and watching movies.
Survivors include a sister, Nancy (Mark) LaVere, of Frewsburg; a brother–in law, Russell Newton of Forestville; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Ken Ecker; and a sister, Susan Ecker Newton.
Services are private and at the convenience of family. Interment will be in Villenova Cemetery, town of Villenova.
