Arley is survived by his siblings Tom Spencer Jr., Tammy Spencer, Randy Spencer, Barbie Marcourt, Gary Spencer and Mary Hallmets. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. John L. Brenecki, known to many as Jack, 80, of Dunkirk passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024 at Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center in Dunkirk. Born in Dunkirk on Oct. 18, 1943, son of the late John M. and Eugenia (Bielat) Brenecki. During his younger years, Jack proudly served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1967. He achieved the rank of Corporal and was stationed in Germany and Vietnam. Jack’s service to his country reflected his courage and dedication. He was also a member of American Legion Post 62. Donna Jean Marie McQuiggan, 67, of Dunn, N.C. formerly of Dunkirk, New York passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at her home. Donna was born March 10, 1956, in Dunkirk, New York, daughter of the late Robert and Jean Furdell McQuiggan. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Allan McQuiggan. She is survived by her wife, Susan Hege of Palatka, Florida; daughter, Brenda Ortiz of Fayetteville, N.C.; grandchildren, Juliahna Hege, Andru Oritz both of Fayetteville, N.C., and her sister, Paula McQuiggan of Dunkirk, New York. A private service was held in North Carolina.
