In the league’s third major event of the season, the Pennsylvania Open, held at North Hills in Corry, PA, the overall winner with a birdie on the first handicap hole (No.9) was Tim Walawender. Also shooting 78 were Robert Calph, Ed Tofil, Al Etzel and Dave Mathews. It was Walawender’s second career tour victory. His first tour victory, coincidentally, was the 2015 Pennsylvania Open.
