Lakeshore Lightning completes perfect summer

Submitted Photo Three girls teams from the Lake Shore Lightning Soccer Club accomplished something special this 2017 season. All three teams are champions of their respective division and all three teams went undefeated in the process. Collectively the teams tallied a league record of 30-0-3. Lake Shore Lightning competes in the BWNYJSL from April through July. The U19 Girls team finished with a 9-0-1 record, the U16 Girls team finished with a 10-0-0 record, and the U14 Girls team finished with an 11-0-2 record. Each team is mostly comprised of girls who play soccer in the fall for the Silver Creek, Eden, North Collins, and Lake Shore school districts. However, the U16 team also had players from Falconer, Cassadaga, and Fredonia. All three teams are coached by Kevin Rice, varsity girls coach at Silver Creek and Tim Flanagan, former varsity girls coach at North Collins.
