SINCLAIRVILLE — The Cassadaga Valley Lady Cougars finished off a perfect regular season Monday with an 8-3 defeat of Maple Grove in a non-league high school softball game.

Brittyn LeBaron was winning pitcher for Cassadaga Valley (14-0), allowing five hits and a walk in her five innings of work while striking out four batters.

LeBaron had three hits, including a double, and two RBI. Holly Crandall also had three hits and Savanna Nickerson had two hits, including a double, and drove in four runs for the Lady Cougars. Hannah Edwards chipped in two hits for the team.

For Maple Grove (5-7), Megann Nolan had two hits, including a triple, and scored two runs. Elsi Swanson and Tessa Warner also had two hits for the Lady Red Dragons.
