SINCLAIRVILLE — Kaylee Pattyson scored 12 points and had 16 rebounds to lead the Cassadaga Valley girls basketball team past Clymer, 40-38 in CCAA Div. 2 West action on Monday.

Meghan LeBaron added 11 points and seven rebounds to help the Cougars claim victory.

For Clymer, they were led by Kate Honey with eight points and eight rebounds while Emma Wiggers added eight points and six rebounds.

Cassadaga Valley (8-4, 3-3) will be back in action on Jan. 25 against Panama.

Portville 54, Silver Creek 25

SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek girls basketball team lost in CCAA. Div. 1 East action on Monday, falling to Portville, 54-25.

Abby Rice led Silver Creek with nine points and nine rebounds while Kierra Brennen added seven points of her own.

For Portville, they were led by Sydney Colligan (19 points) and Mia Welty (13 points).

Silver Creek (8-2,3-1) will be back in action on Thursday against Allegany-Limestone.
