Austin Bourgeois, of Westfield, recently signed his letter of intent to wrestle collegiately for the Rochester Institute of Technology. Bourgeois, a member of the Chautauqua Lake-Westfield-Panama Thunderbirds wrestling team, represented Westfield Academy at the NY State wrestling championship meet in Albany this past February. Westfield Athletic Director Jake Hitchcock called Austin “the ideal student-athlete.”
