Fredonia’s Hoffman, Bird fire 41s at Shorewood CC
DUNKIRK — Fredonia moved to 8-0 on the year and 7-0 in league play with three Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 golf wins at Shorewood Country Club Monday.
The Hillbillies topped Cassadaga Valley (1-10, 1-8) 39-16, Chautauqua/Westfield/Sherman (4-10, 2-6) 33.5-21.5, and Dunkirk (0-3, 0-3) 39-13.
Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Sherman was a 38.5-16.5 winner over Cassadaga Valley.
Lucas Hoffman and Dawson Bird both fired 41s for Fredonia to earn co-medalist honors.
Darien Swanson shot 43 for Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Sherman, Matt Runge 54 for Cassadaga Valley and Robert Kozlowski 51 for Dunkirk.

TROJANS EARN THREE VICTORIES
JAMESTOWN — The Southwestern boys golf team raised its record to 14-2 overall and 10-1 in Division 1 after posting wins over Jamestown, Falconer and Olean on Monday at Moon Brook Country Club.
Max Vaughn paced the Trojans (14-2, 10-1), who defeated Jamestown (3-10, 2-8), 38-17, Falconer (6-7, 4-3), 38.5-16.5, and Olean (5-6, 4-4), 35-20, with a 3-over 39.
Led by medalist Kamdyn McClain’s 2-over 38, the Huskies knocked off Jamestown, 32-23, and Falconer, 35.5-19.5.
The Golden Falcons, meanwhile, defeated the Red Raiders, 30.5-24.5. Curtis Hannon led the way for Falconer with a 45. Evan Maloney paced Jamestown with a 44.

STOCKWELL SHINES FOR UNBEATEN JHS
Jenna Stockwell’s 45 earned medalist honors and helped propel unbeaten Jamestown to a 30-25 victory over Southwestern at Moon Brook Country Club.
The win raised the Red Raiders’ record to 7-0 overall and 6-0 in the division.
Josephine Corey led the Trojans (1-4, 1-4) with a 47.
