Connor Grey has returned to Triple-A.

The right-hander from Frewsburg has cleared waivers and has been assigned to Syracuse of the International League.

Grey, who was called up to the New York Mets two weeks ago but didn’t appear in a game, has a 5-5 record with a 5.52 earned run average in 22 appearances with Syracuse this season. In 93 innings pitched, he’s given up 60 runs — 57 earned — struck out 75 and walked 40.
