BEMUS POINT — Rachal King had six kills, four aces and three blocks to lead Maple Grove to a 25-18, 25-22, 18-25, 25-16 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 West volleyball victory over Clymer/Sherman on Tuesday.

Megan Lockwood had three aces and three digs; Abby Harrell had two kills and two assists; Hannah Benson had two aces and two kills; Erin Mansfield had a block, three aces and 23 assists; and Eliza Dawes had 14 kills for the Red Dragons (5-2, 5-0).

Janelle Burchanowski had 10 assists, six aces, four blocks, four digs and a kill; Cora Goldberg had four kills, three aces and two blocks; Paige Gratto had five kills; and Hayden Fisher had four aces, three kills and a block for the Wolves (5-2, 3-2).

Maple Grove won the jayvee match.

T’BIRDS WIN IN 3

WESTFIELD — Chautauqua Lake (5-0, 5-0) swept Westfield (3-2, 2-2) in three sets, 25-14, 25-14, 25-18, for a Division 2 West victory.

The Thunderbirds were led by Hannah Group with five kills and three digs; Bre Smith added five kills, one ace and two blocks; Ava Olson contributed four kills, six aces, five digs and 10 assists; and Mallory Morrison recorded three kills, two aces, three digs and 12 assists.

Westfield was led by Haleigh Dellow with seven kills and two digs; Keara Kincaid added six kills, three blocks, two aces and two digs; and Tanleigh Bestine contributed 10 assists, two kills and seven digs.

COUGARS SWEEP

FORESTVILLE — The Cassadaga Valley Cougars (1-4, 2-5) defeated Forestville (0-4, 0-4) in three sets, 25-20, 25-15, 25-19, in Division 2 West action.

The Cougars were led by Jordan Austin had 10 kills, one block, one ace and four digs; Madilynne Haddaway made two kills, six aces, seven digs and one block; and Allison Wakelee added 21 assists.

Forestville was led by Dakota VanArsdale with six digs, one kill and two blocks; Kaitie Lomanto had two kills, 14 assists, four blocks, three aces and six digs; Gracie Johnson added one kill, two assists, five blocks, two aces and four digs; and Megan Gruber contributed one kill, two blocks and six digs.
