Northern Chautauqua Catholic School kicked off its 20th annual basketball tournament with three games Thursday night. The Noto-Smith Memorial Basketball Tournament continues all weekend in the NCCS gym with championship games on Sunday. The tournament is held in honor and memory of longtime NCCS basketball coaches Jim Noto and Peg Smith. Pictured above are the NCCS varsity girls’ team along with Peg Smith’s daughter Becky Conti. Residents are invited to stop at the NCCS Lion’s Den Gym any time this weekend to catch some excellent roundball competition. Concessions are available.
