Positive COVID-19 case reported in North Collins
NORTH COLLINS — A positive case of the coronavirus has popped up in Southern Erie County.
John Tobia, supervisor for the town of North Collins posted that Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz confirmed that as of 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, there was a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the town. “We will keep the public informed as the town receives the information. Please maintain social distancing, and use precautions,” Tobia stated.
According to Poloncarz, there are 27 positive cases in Erie County.
No positive cases have been reported in Chautauqua County, although 20 people are in precautionary quarantine.
