Brenda Joyce McClenathan
Brenda Joyce McClenathan, 72, of Lake-wood Ranch, Fla., passed away peacefully on Sunday July 18, 2021, at Magnolia Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sarasota, Fla. She was born June 17, 1949, in Huntington, WVa.
She was a 1967 graduate of Grove City High School in Grove City, Ohio and at-tended Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix, Ariz., as an honors student in computer science.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 25 years Robert McClenathan; her three daughters: Jennifer (Robert) Bolvin, Ammie (Quinn) Gormley and Theresa (Ryan) Conner; her one son, Andrew Roan-house; her nine grandchildren: Tanner, Megan, Lauren, Tatem, Riley, Aidan, Cormac, Killian and Harper; and her aunt, Lareita Parsons.
She was predeceased by her parents, William and Betty (Cantrell) Matthews.
Brenda was an active member of her church and a dedicated volunteer to children’s charities. She was an avid sports fan and could be seen regularly cheering on her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, Sept. 16t, 2021 at 4:30 p.m., at Calvary Chapel Central Campus 12612 N. Black Canyon Highway. Phoenix, AZ 85029.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Lewy Body Dementia Association or Shoe Box Ministries Operation Christmas Child .
