Trinity’s annual spaghetti dinner proceeds donated to Rev. Anne Paris and Paradise House of Buffalo

Submitted Photo Pictured are Rev. Anne Paris (center) and church members Jodie Edington and Alena Crosson.

This year Trinity’s dinner and basket raffle proceeds went to Rev. Anne Paris and Paradise House of Buffalo. Rev. Anne was a big part of Trinity’s history. She and her husband Rev. Hugh Pratt served at Trinity. They are both remembered fondly and Rev. Pratt has come back to serve at Trinity in recent months.

Paradise House is a transitional house for women who have broken their addiction, paroled from prison and it helps them reunite with their families. Rev. Anne has been running this house for 25 years in a former rectory in the Broadway-Fillmore area of the city. She has hundreds of success stories.

The Trinity UCC family chose this charity because it means a great deal to the members, and it also benefits the greater community, as well as WNY families.

Trinity and the supportive Gowanda and WNY Communities made it possible to donate the proceeds of $1000 to Rev. Anne Paris and the Paradise House.

Trinity is very grateful to local communities and their continued support of all Trinity’s endeavors, from monthly community meals, former prescription bottle collection, yearly charity benefits and hygiene kit collection.

The kit collection information is available on the Facebook page and on the web site: Gowandatrinityuccgow.wixsite.com/trinityuccgowanda
