Flea market set for this Friday and Saturday

SHERIDAN — March is coming in like a lamb and the weather looks great for this weekend so come and browse at the Lake Shore Flea Market.

Once again, the Market will be at the Sheridan VFW Memorial Post, 2556 Route 20. The hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. The market opens again Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The VFW says “thank you” to all those fish fry supporters. Though the VFW did not win, loyal supporters voted it the third best fish fry in the OBSERVER/Post Journal “Best of the Best” contest.

Place your dinner order and come into the flea market to fill out a ticket to win two free fish dinners. No purchase is necessary to enter for the dinners. If you can’t make it Friday night, you may enter the drawing on Saturday too.

The 50-50 drawing will continue through the 2024 flea market season. Half of the moneys will support the veterans and half will be awarded to one lucky winner. Chances are $1 each or eight for $5 and the funds will benefit the dedicated and loyal veterans. The lucky winner of the 50-50 and free fish fries will be drawn on Saturday at 2 p.m. You do not have to be present to win either contest. In addition to the flea market, enjoy the Friday night fish fry.
