Drumline of Bills performs Friday

The 1891 Fredonia Opera House Performing Arts Center will present DownBeat Percussion, the official drumline of the Buffalo Bills, in concert on Friday at 7 p.m. Composed of world class percussionists who thrive on energy, precision, and performance, DownBeat Percussion performs in front of more than 70,000 people every home game during the NFL season. Fred Basket lists hours for month On Saturday, June 20, Fred Basket previously known as The Fredonia Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon at Fredonia Presbyterian Church at 219 Central Ave. Additionally, it is open on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Guests may only receive one helping a month. Silver Creek Kiwanis charity golf tournament June 19

On Friday, June 19, the Silver Creek Kiwanis Club will be holding its 31st Annual Charity Golf Tournament. It will be at Shorewood Country Club. The day includes golf, a tee gift, a continental breakfast, lunch at the turn, a buffet dinner, and prizes. Check-in is from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. Golf begins at 8:45 a.m. The format is a four-person scramble. Sheridan plans memorial open house for Langworthy SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Historical Society is hosting a memorial open house in honor of Mary Langworthy on Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. Friends and family are invited to share memories of Langworthy beginning at 1 p.m. Some of her research into the town's early lake history will also be shared, including the story of the schooner Kingbird, which was built in Sheridan about 1815.
