St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

The fall Adult Education program at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish will be highlighted by a day of reflection. The invitation is extended to all men of the area. This men’s conference day will be held at the Northern Chautauqua Catholic School, 336 Washington Ave., Dunkirk on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 8:30 to 11:15 a.m., followed by a luncheon.

The conference will be led by Peter Santandreu, currently a seminarian at Christ the King Seminary of the Diocese of Buffalo. The seminary, located in East Aurora, prepares men for the vocation of the priesthood, deaconate and other pastoral ministries. Santandreu brings with him an excellent theological background with a master’s degree in theology and the experience of working as a lay missionary in South America for two years. Well-known at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish, Santandreu spent the past year in apostolic formation at the parish under the guidance of Reverend Dennis G. Riter, learning and assisting in the many facets of parish life, particularly with the parish’s Hispanic ministry.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish is fortunate and blessed to have Santandreu return to offer the men a morning of reflection on the spirituality of the Incarnation and how this affects their everyday life.

The schedule will begin with the registration at 8:30 and morning refreshments, followed by talks and a prayer service. The day will conclude with a luncheon. A $5 fee will be collected at registration. To pre-register, call 366-5299.
