City man facing cocaine charges

A Dunkirk man has been charged with selling cocaine in the city.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department, Bobby Allen, 34, of 14 Genet St. was taken into custody Friday on an outstanding grand jury indictment warrant. A warrant had been issued for his arrest following a secret grand jury by the District Attorney’s Office.

An investigation conducted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force alleges Allen sold quantities of cocaine to task force agents on numerous occasions from his residence.

Allen was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Members of the community should call the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force at 1-800-344-8702 or Dunkirk police at 363-0313 when they observe suspicious narcotic-related activity in their area.

SILVER CREEK – Aaron L. Green, 29, of Silver Creek was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and having an inadequate muffler on Monday. At 12 a.m., deputies stopped a motor vehicle on Central Avenue for an alleged loud exhaust system. Green was found to allegedly have his driving privileges revoked. Green was released on appearance tickets.

HARMONY – Chris-tina S. Blair, 31, of Ashville was charged with driving while intoxicated and speeding Monday. At 6 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for allegedly speeding on Blockville-Watts Flats Road. Blair was allegedly found to be intoxicated. She was released to appear in Harmony Town court.
