CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF

FORESTVILLE — A motor-vehicle accident early Sunday morning led to charges for an Irving man.

Around midnight, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded the incident on Main Street. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Sebastian N. Jimenez, 28. Jimenez was allegedly found to have been driving while intoxicated and subsequently arrested.

Jimenez was transported to the Sheriff’s Officer Hanover Substation where he was processed. Jimenez was charged with DWI per se, DWI common law, speed not reasonable and prudent, and moving from lane unsafely. Jimenez was released and will be in the Sheridan Town Court later.

Dunkirk Police

Jose Hernandez, no age listed, of Dunkirk, was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree burglary and second-degree harassment.
