¯ NORTH HARMONY — Brandy M. Ecklund, 37, of Mayville, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, failure stop at a stop sign and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 1:40 a.m. Sunday in North Harmony for an alleged traffic violation. It was learned that Ecklund was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. She is scheduled to appear in North Harmony Town Court later.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
¯ Patrick Byrne, 35, of Pittsburg, Pa., was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Troopers responded Oct. 28 to Interstate 86 near Jamestown for a report of a vehicle driving erratically. The vehicle was observed committing several violations in the eastbound lane. Byrne was taken into custody after allegedly failing several field sobriety tests and during a search troopers located two handguns in the vehicle. Byrne did not have a pistol permit. Byrne later provided a breath sample of 0.26%. He is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.
¯ DUNKIRK — Keshavian Durden, 31, of Dunkirk, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. Troopers stopped Durden on Oct. 30 for a traffic violation on Route 60 in Dunkirk and he was taken into custody after allegedly failing field sobriety tests. Durden later provided a breath sample 0.23%. He is scheduled to appear in Dunkirk Town Court later.
DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Peter Galardo, 40, of Dunkirk, was arrested Oct. 27 and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.
¯ Brittany Jones, 35, of Dunkirk, was arrested Oct. 27 and charged with petit larceny.
¯ David Lewis, 37, of Dunkirk, was arrested Saturday and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated (blood alcohol content .18% or greater), third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, and no or inadequate lights.
¯ Byron Oaks, 33, of Dunkirk, was arrested Saturday and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree obstruction of government administration, suspended registration and improper signal.
¯ Jodi Messere, 42, of Dunkirk, was arrested Saturday and charged with petit larceny.
