CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Dana G. Walsh, 24, of Westfield, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and unlicensed operator. Larry M. Houser, 37, of Westfield, was taken into custody on warrants for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. Deputies checked on a suspicious vehicle around 2 a.m. on Monday on Parker Road in the town of Chautauqua. Houser was a passenger in the vehicle and found to have multiple warrants. Walsh, the driver, was allegedly found to be intoxicated following an investigation. She was processed and released with tickets to appear in court later.
¯ POMFRET — At about 9:30 a.m. Monday, deputies conducted a warrant check at a residence on Route 60. They located 27-year-old Dylan Sugden within the residence. Sugden, who was wanted for fourth-degree criminal possession, was arrested and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.
¯ FORESTVILLE — A Sunday evening altercation has led to a number of charges against an area woman.
At 9:38 p.m., Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded to an address on Pearl Street for a reported altercation. Upon an investigation into the incident deputies did arrest 52-year-old Julie A Harris for second-degree felony assault. It is alleged that Harris did cause physical injury to a person over 65 years old during the altercation. It alleged that Harris did intentionally take and damage a phone while the victim was attempting to call the police for assistance.
Harris also was charged with two misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief. She was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment on the charges.
BROCTON — At 8:56 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an address on Lake Avenue in the village of Brocton. Further investigation found that, James O. Kachermeyer, 46, of Brocton, did strike another individual. Kachermeyer was charged with second-degree harassment and was transported to the coutny jail for arraignment. Kachermeyer will answer his charges in town of Portland Court later.
¯ WESTFIELD — Joseph Blachowski, 63, of Westfield, was taken into custody on warrants for theft of service and two counts of petit larceny. Deputies located Blachowski on Monday. He was turned over to the Chautauqua County Jail.
¯ STOCKTON — Adam Degolier, 32, of Stockton, was taken into custody on warrants for second-degree burglary and petit larceny. Degolier was located by deputies Monday at his Stockton residence. He was turned over to the Chautauqua County Jail.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Levi Davis, 42, of Westfield, was charged with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Officers responded at 6:20 a.m. on Friday to Washington Street for a reported domestic incident. An investigation found that Davis allegedly harassed another person inside a residence by using physical force in which he kneed the victim in the head, struck him and threw him against a wall. During the altercation, a candle holder was broken. Davis was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
