JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Demario D. McBride, 41, of Buffalo was charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child after an incident that began at 11:50 p.m. Monday at a north side address. According to a police report, officers spoke with a person who said there had been a domestic dispute and learned McBride allegedly entered a home, assaulted and choked a person in front of a child less than 17 years of age. McBride was charged and taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.

Jeffrey L. Buchanan, 34, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal mischief after an incident at 4:44 p.m. Monday at a home on the city’s east side. According to a police report, Buchanan allegedly damaged property belonging to another person during a domestic dispute. Police found Buchanan and charged him without incident. Officers also found Buchanan had an outstanding arrest warrant from Jamestown City Court. Buchanan was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.

— Terry L. Kendall, 33, was charged with two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon after a Tuesday morning incident.

At about 8:14 a.m. officers responded to an eastside address to assist state Parole with a home check as a part of a detail. Upon making contact with Kendall inside the residence, he was found to be lying on a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handgun. Officers were able to place Kendall into custody without incident.

While inside the residence, officers located a total of 28.1grams of crack cocaine, numerous digital scales, U.S. Currency, and 10 grams of an unknown substance adapted for the dilution of a narcotic drug or stimulant.

Kendall was being held pending arraignment.
