ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Patrick R. Damore, 62, no address listed, was charged with petit larceny. Police were called Feb. 22 to Wegman for a reported shoplifting and found that Damore passed all points of sale without paying for items. Damore is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later.

— Ryan J. Richter, 29, no address listed, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Officers stopped a vehicle at 2 a.m. Feb. 18 for an equipment violation and found that Richter was allegedly intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in court later.

— Larry J. Whitehill Jr., 44, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass, petit larceny and possession of burglar tools. Officers received a report Feb. 13 that a large amount of empty cans had been stolen from a Mason Drive property overnight. Officers were able to locate video of a male identified as Whitehill climbing over a fence and removing the cans. Later that day, Whitehill was located operating the vehicle. He was processed and is scheduled to appear in court later.

— Rose E. Raynor, 39, no address listed, was taken into custody on a charge of petit larceny. Police responded at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 24 to an incident in Falconer and observed Raynor, who was wanted for shoplifting at a village store. She was processed and released with an appearance ticket.

— James R. Tuttle, 35, no address listed, was taken into custody Feb. 14 on a warrant for charges of second-degree criminal contempt, petit larceny and second-degree harassment. The charges stem from an incident that occurred Aug. 25.

— Tonya L. Earley, 54, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance Officers were called to an East Main Street hotel in Falconer to investigate a suspicious situation. An investigation determined that Earley was allegedly in possession of heroin. Earley is scheduled to appear in court later.

— Todd A. Bloomberg, 36, no address listed, was taken into custody on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree harassment, third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing. Officers responded at 7 p.m. Thursday to an address for a person reportedly wanted on warrants. Bloomberg was located and was confirmed to be wanted in Ellicott. He also was wanted on vehicle and traffic law violations for failure to obey a police officer, operating a motorcycle without a helmet and operating a motorcycle without a face shield. Bloomberg was processed and transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

— RIPLEY — Richard P. Sprague II, 21, of North East, Pa., was charged with aggravated DWI, failure to keep right, speed unreasonable and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies responded at 5:15 a.m. Thursday to Sherman Road in the town of Ripley for a crash. The driver was identified as Sprague, who was reportedly observed to be intoxicated. He was processed and is scheduled to appear in court later.

— HANOVER — Joseph D. Miller, 22, of Irving, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny and second-degree harassment. Deputies responded at 9:16 p.m. Thursday to the town of Hanover for a reported altercation. An investigation found that Miller allegedly subjected another person to unwanted physical contact and damaged another person’s property. Miller was transported to jail for arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Sandra L. Pavlock, 44, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, second-degree criminal nuisance as well as two counts each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Larry L. Hicks, 44, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and second-degree criminal nuisance. Larissa A. Pavlock, 25, Robin M. Hadley, 21, and Dontrel T. Buchanan, 20, all of Jamestown, were each charged with second-degree criminal nuisance. Members of the Jamestown Metro and Southern Tier Regional drug task forces executed a search warrant at 10 a.m. Thursday at 47 Charles St., lower apartment. A search turned up 33.4 grams of cocaine, a small quantity of Oxycodone pills, a small quantity of methamphetamine, $478 and scales and packaging used in the distribution of narcotics. All five individuals were held for arraignment in court.
