JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Jack E. Wyant, 21, of Falconer, was charged May 27 with aggravated criminal contempt, and third-degree assault. According to police, at about 11:04 p.m., officers, and the New York State Police responded to an in-progress domestic dispute on the east side. Through investigation, it was discovered that Wyant allegedly engaged in a physical altercation causing physical injuries to the victim. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Shawn M. Paprocki, 39, was charged May 26 with resisting arrest, and having an outstanding arrest warrant. According to police, at about 3:04 a.m., officers were responding to a domestic dispute. When responding, police said, officers located Paprocki walking downtown. Officers were aware that Paprocki had an outstanding arrest warrant as well. Police said officers attempted to stop Paprocki, and Paprocki allegedly attempted to flee on foot.
