Fredonia Heating and Plumbing celebrates 50 years
In 1964, David Lewandowski and his wife, the late Elsie started their business, Fredonia Heating and Plumbing. Fifty years later the business is still going strong.
“It is important to shop local and do business locally. That is what has kept us in business so long,” Amy Lewandowski said.
David Sr. retired 10 years ago, passing on the business to his sons, David Jr. and Daniel. David Jr. died in a car accident last year.
Amy, Daniel’s wife, said in addition to the community’s support, the work of Fredonia Heating and Plumbing’s loyal employees has allowed it to maintain top-quality service.
In the past 50 years and especially recently, technology has changed the industry greatly, according to Amy. She said Fredonia Heating and Plumbing has kept up with the push for green and energy-efficient appliances.
Services provided by Fredonia Heating and Plumbing include heating, plumbing, air conditioning, as well as installation and service of Dunkirk Boilers, service of Lennox Boilers and installation of State water heaters.
In order to celebrate its 50 years in business, Fredonia Heating and Plumbing will hold a drawing for a 46-inch Samsung LED HD Smart TV, purchased from Dick Golden TV and Radio Services in Fredonia.
Entries, including names and contact information, can be dropped off or sent to Fredonia Heating and Plumbing, 41 1/2 White St., Fredonia, NY 14063 (behind Titus Monuments on the corner of White and Lambert streets). Questions, call 679-1652. The drawing will take place Dec. 31.
