Flea Market at Tri-Church Parish, Brocton
A flea market to benefit Art Discovery, a community arts program of Tri-Church Parish will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Parish, located at 41 E. Main St., Brocton. Items for sale include: vintage, collectables, household, gently used/new clothing, jewelry, artwork, books, baked goods and more. St. John’s United Church of Christ hot dog lunch
St. John’s United Church of Christ will hold a hot dog lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 733 Central Ave., Dunkirk. Meals will include a hot dog, chips, and soda for just $3.
Laurel Memorial Run/Walk Relay Run and 30 mile endurance run
The 30 mile endurance run begins in Jamestown and continues to Dunkirk. Proceeds are used to enhance employment and wok training opportunities for people with disabilities.
Gowanda VFW Post 5007 drive-through barbecue
Gowanda VFW Post 5007, 20 Sand Hill Road, will hold a drive-through chicken barbecue or chicken and ribs barbecue from 3 to 6 p.m. The costs are $14 for chicken and ribs or $12 for chicken. Payment is via cash only. Ribs are in limited supply. The menu includes ¢ chicken or ™ chicken and ribs, salt potatoes, cole slaw and roll.
Artist Colin Danna opening exhibit reception
At 4 p.m., there will be an opening champagne reception for the exhibit “Time Before” at Annex 25, 2 E. Main St., Westfield. Live jazz will be performed. Jamestown-born Colin Danna now resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. For details, call Annex 25 at 232-4331.

This New York City-style flea market begins at 8 a.m. in Moore Park with a focus on vintage and antique goods along with fashion clothing.

The Westfield Farmers and Artisans Market is from 9 a.m. to 2 p .m. at Moore P ark, 23 Elm St., Westfield. Darwin R. Barker Historical Museum grand re-opening event
At 7 Day St., Fredonia, the Darwin R. Barker Historical Museum will hold a grand re-opening event from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be all new exhibits, a historical concert by a Civil War-era drum and fife corps from 11 a.m. to noon, craft demonstrations, bicentennial celebration, an Alonzo Cushing reenactment with Historian Todd Langworthy from 9 a.m. to noon, a screening of the film “Among the Hemlocks” with Director Roslin Smith at 2 p.m., tours of the Barker House by curator Maxwell Walters at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., and a concert featuring music spanning the 19th century at 5 p.m. There is free entry for all.
Laurel Memorial Run/Walk
In Silver Creek, there will be an 8k run, a 5k fitness walk, children’s runs and “Laurel’s Legacy Lap,” in which people with disabilities take a lap around the track at the village ball field. Proceeds are used to enhance employment and wok training opportunities for people with disabilities.
Jamestown Public Market

Fredonia Food Pantry
The Fredonia Food Pantry, Fredonia Presbyterian Church, 219 Central Ave., will be open from 10 a.m, to noon. The pantry serves the needs of Fredonia area code 14063, Pomfret, Sheridan and Laona. All guests receive one or more bags of non-perishable food. Number of bags given out depends on family size.
Lakeshore Humane Society open adoption
The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. Masks covering the nose and mouth must be worn at all times on the grounds of LHS. Visiting groups are limited to two per family/visit. Guests must wait in vehicles until they can be admitted. For details, call 672-1991.

The Nels Ross Family Comedy Show starts at 7 p.m. outside at the National Comedy Center, 203 W. Second St., Jamestown. The movie “Monsters, Inc.” begins on the outdoor screen at 8:45 p.m.
Opera House movie
The 1891 Fredonia Opera House will present the movie “Dream Horse,” starring Toni Collette and Damian Lewis at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6.50 for Opera House members/seniors, $5 for students, and sold at the door only. Unvaccinated individuals are required to follow CDC guidelines which call for masks to be worn at indoor events and social distancing to be maintained. ANY individual, can, of course, choose to wear a maks at his/her own discretion.
Old Dawg Bluegrass performance
The Jamestown area band “Old Dawg Bluegrass will perform in Lily Dale at 8 p.m. Tickets for the two hour performance are $10. For details see LilyDaleAssembly.org

Cassadaga Farmers’ Market
The Cassadaga Farmers’ Market will take place from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Cassadaga Village Common at the corner of Route 60 and Maple Avenue. Roberto Fred will be back with his selection of fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables and other food items.
