Bookshop catering to city students The Dunkirk City School District has the opportunity to help students start their own personal library. The Bookshop, located at 319 Washington Ave., home of the Chautauqua County Rural Ministry, Inc. offers students the opportunity to visit the bookshop and select four books free of charge to start their library. Additional books can be purchased at a nominal cost. Each student is given a voucher for four free books to be used as a class project, or independent visit. Boil-water order may end Saturday Fredonia water users must continue to boil water. Mayor Michael Ferguson offered an update on Friday noting that at 9 a.m., divers were in the tank for the final day of cleaning. Once acceptable levels of clarity are reached, water tests will be conducted. “We must pass two tests for two days to lift the boil order,” he said. “We expect, possibly Saturday we will get the green flag.
