Revitalize Dunkirk planning Saturday cleanup On Saturday, Revitalize Dunkirk, Inc. is facilitating a community trash cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon. The group will meet at the city parking lot at Lakeshore Drive and Washington Avenue for a waiver sign in. After a brief safety talk provided by a Dunkirk Police Officer, volunteers will pick up trash downtown and along the waterfront. Gloves, trash bags and refreshments will be provided. McClurg's influence on region explored April 20 The continuing influence James McClurg has on Westfield and the region will be illustrated as part of the Chautauqua County Historical Society’s annual meeting on April 20. The meeting, which begins at 10 a.m., and the program, presented by CCHS trustee Michelle Henry, will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Westfield. The event is free and open to the public.
