Brush collection planned in village The village of Fredonia will be picking up limbs and yard waste beginning Monday at 7 a.m. Collection will continue until every Village street has been completed. Bags and brush are collected separately by different crews. All items for collection must be at the curb no later than 7 a.m. Monday. In no case will there be a repeat collection of areas completed. Bookshop catering to city students The Dunkirk City School District has the opportunity to help students start their own personal library. The Bookshop, located at 319 Washington Ave., home of the Chautauqua County Rural Ministry, Inc. offers students the opportunity to visit the bookshop and select four books free of charge to start their library.
