Photos by Cameron Hurst State and local officials are encouraging residents to take advantage of free COVID-19 testing opportunities available in Mayville and next week in Jamestown and Dunkirk.

Christine Schuyler, Chautauqua County public health director, announced on Sunday afternoon that no appointments remain available for the rapid testing clinic in Mayville on Tuesday.

Additional clinics are being planned for the week of Nov. 30 with more information to follow.

A Mayville clinic was announced late Friday. It will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chautauqua County Office of Emergency Services, 2 Academy St.
