IRVING — The board of directors of Brooks-TLC Hospital System, Inc. has announced it has engaged Pyramid Brokerage Co. of Buffalo, Inc. (Pyramid) to act as broker for the sale of the former TLC campus and Lakeshore Hospital located at 845 Main Road in Irving.

“Pyramid was selected following a search for commercial real estate brokers with experience in the sale or lease of health care facilities, not only with a significant local presence, but also with a national reach,” said Chris Lanski, Brooks-TLC board president. “Hospital leadership will work with Pyramid to help identify the best potential buyer and reuse of the facility.”

The former hospital, medical offices, and skilled nursing facility located on Routes 5 and 20 comprises 172,381 square feet and sits on a 30.8 acre site.

In an effort to ensure the sustainability of the Brooks-TLC Hospital System and preserve regional services, its board of directors made the difficult decision to close the TLC campus and Lakeshore Hospital last year. Its final day in operation was Feb. 2.

“Pyramid has an extensive background brokering the sale of facilities in the health care, hospitality, retail and investment sectors,” shared Richard Schechter who, along with and David Seider and John Ticco III, comprise the Pyramid team assigned to this project.

“The location of the property on Routes 5 & 20 with proximity to the NYS Thruway I-90 Silver Creek exit offers a variety of reuse opportunities to add value to the Irving community,” he stated.
