James “Barney” Tessmer
GOWANDA — Barney Tessmer, 59, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening June 16, 2021.
Born in Gowanda, Aug. 14, 1961, the son of Herman and Mary Lou ( Ellis) Tessmer.
Barney honorably served with the U.S. Navy .
Survivors include a brother, Steven (late Cindy) Tessmer of Ripley, Cindy CKarl) Miller of Collins and Barb Tessmer of Perrysburg. Barney is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins, aunts and uncles .
Preceded in death by his father, Herman (July 11, 2008); mother, Mary Lou (Nov. 1, 2011); sisters: Becky (Oct. 28, 2005) and Connie (Aug. 9, 2020) .
Barney will be buried privately in the Collins Center Cemetery.
