Robert C. Cooper, 84, of Dunkirk, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Born in Dunkirk on June 8, 1941, he was the son of the late Gerald “Jake” and Lenora “Nonie” (Johnson) Cooper. A lifelong resident of Dunkirk, Robert graduated from Dunkirk High School. He went on to serve honorably in the United States Army from 1963-1965.
