CHEEKTOWAGA — Though most area high school sports events got rained out Friday, the Lake Shore Eagles baseball team moved to 6-0 on the season with its fifth win in as many days.

The Eagles took an 8-2 victory over Maryvale (7-2) in an ECIC 3 game. Nate Lockwood upped his record to 3-0 on the season by tossing a three-hitter at Maryvale, striking out eight batters.

Spencer Kwiols was 3 for 4 with two RBI for Lake Shore, while his brother, Jackson Kwiols, had two hits. Jon Wilson, who has 14 RBI on the season, also had two hits for the Eagles, as did Alex Buckley.

The teams meet again today at Maryvale High School for another game.
