Lucky Lanes junior bowling has announced the winners of the seventh annual Priscilla Seybold Memorial Singles Tournament, which was held Feb. 18. This tournament is named in honor of Priscilla Seybold, who spent most of her free time working with the youth bowlers at Lucky Lanes. She was an advocate for bowling at both the youth and adult levels.

Bowlers qualified during league play on Nov. 11 and Jan. 20 to enter the finals. Bowlers ranging in ages 6 to 18 filled the bowling center on Feb. 18 to compete for over $2,325 in educational assistance awards.

Scores used to determine the winners were based on three games bowled in the finals plus handicap. Divisions are based on the leagues the bowlers compete in regularly on Saturday and are separated into girls and boys.

The youngest of the bowlers are the Bantam Leagues (ages 6 to 8). They started earning money to be put aside until they enter a secondary educational institution. First-place winners of $100 went to Marleigh Jagoda for the girls and Jack Rudyk for the boys. Second place of $50 went to Paxton Sheehan in the boys division and Olivia Roach-Smith in the girls division.

The Sunshine Leagues (ages 12 & under) had first-place awards of $150. Meghan Kelly took first for the girls, while Bradley Berkshire finished first for the boys. A second place of $75 for the boys went to Carter Fuhrman. The boys had enough bowlers to award a third-place award of $50 and it went to Joseph Meyer.
